Beat it toots (6-R)

“Listen dame, why don’t you make like a rubber ball and bounce?” You attempt to say wittingly… but I mean come on, that was really cheesy. Insulted by the sheer lameness of your remark she storms out of your office slamming the door behind her. It causes your framed private eye diploma fall off the wall kind of a symbol as you just turned down a person you got the diploma to help. But enough about that; you therapist keeps telling you not to dwell on the past and accept the choices you have made in life.

Attempting to shrug off the guilt you pick up the sign and attempt to hang it back up. You trip and hit your head on your way to return the sign to the wall… and kind of fall unconscious.

Eventually you wake to the cries of people from out in the streets. Looking out the window you see the city getting destroyed by robots. Between the cries you even hear that, “pew, pew pew pew,” sound that lasers make on the TV. Know knowing how long you’ve been out; you try to find something with a date on it. But let’s face it; you’re in the middle of the god damn robot apocalypse. I’m sure people don’t have time to print anything as they are fleeing for their lives from giant robots with lasers.

You make it out of the building onto the street. From there you see giant robots stepping all over people, grabbing them, pulling them apart and all sorts of shit that makes you want to vomit if it didn’t look a little bit tasty. Hey look that robot over there just squeezed some guy like a tube of toothpaste till his head popped… oh wait too late you missed it. All this shit is going down and you don’t even know how long you’ve been out. Somehow you do feel it’s your fault, maybe if you had taken the case things would not have helped-
Stop that. Seriously thinking like that is pretty Narcissistic of you, I’m sure you’re not important enough to be the cause for the end of man. Just remember what your doctor said and shut up about the past. Now that reflection time is over you might want to grab a gun. Seriously the robots are coming and they really don’t like fleshy things.
